Luella Dukes Weeks,92, of Norman Park, died Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 13, 2020 in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Voyles and Rev. Dudley Cook officiating. Chris Hunnicutt, Richard Baker, Justin Weeks, Austin Hunnicutt, John Baker, Andy Baker, and Case Gregory will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Weeks was born on May 10, 1928, in Colquitt Co., she was the daughter of the late Madison Holland Dukes and Florence Hall Dukes. She was retired from Weeks Farm Machinery and was of the Methodist Faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Seaborn Bruce Weeks; brother, Madison Horace Dukes, sisters, Elizabeth Lowery Ferguson, Ethel Hall, Lelia Kretlowe, Elsie Hall, Bessie Stewart, and Rose Rochelowe.
Mrs. Weeks is survived by her son, Donnie Weeks and wife Mitzi of Norman Park; daughters, Shirley Hunnicutt and husband James of Norman Park, and Dale Baker and husband Terry of Norman Park; grandchildren, Chris Hunnicutt and wife Ginger, of Norman Park, Candace Hunnicutt of Cochran, Latisha Hunnicutt of Charleston, SC., Ivie Gregory and husband Brad of Norman Park, Justin Weeks and wife Shellie of Norman Park, Joe Baker and wife Lia of Norman Park, Richard Baker and wife Kim of Norman Park, and Jennifer Wetherington and husband Heath of Lenox; great grandchildren, Austin Hunnicutt, Christin Hunnicutt, Scout Totty, Noah Totty, Case Gregory, Trip Gregory, Tuck Gregory, Beck Gregory, Amelia Gregory, John Baker, Parker Baker, Jay Baker, Abby Baker, Andy Baker, Alex Baker, Jacey Wetherington, Libby Wetherington, Sadie Wetherington, Aubrey Wetherington, Katie Jean Wetherington, SJ Weeks, Stirling, Lakyn Lanier, Walker Lanier, and Perry Suber; sisters, Nell Jarvis of Sparks, and Lucy Acree and husband Russell of Adel; special caregivers, Jenny and Roger Hall; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 on Tuesday, August 13, 2020.
