Liner Ann Griffin Wood, 80, of Nashville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at South Georgia Medical Center in Nashville.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Pinecrest Memory Gardens with Reverend Evan Goforth officiating.

Born on February 12, 1945, in Thomasville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Romeo Griffin, Sr. and Josephine Williams Griffin. Mrs. Wood was a woman of quiet strength, endless creativity, and a deep love for the simple joys of life. She loved her family above all. Mrs. Wood radiated kindness in all that she did. She devoted herself to nurturing not only her own children but an entire community, leaving a legacy of love, guidance, and quiet strength. Mrs. Wood was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby David Wood, Sr.; brother, Andrew Romeo Griffin, Jr; sisters, Barzilla Robinson and Betty Vittum.

Mrs. Wood is survived by her sons, Bobby David Wood, Jr. and husband Sean McMillan of California and Derek Wood of Nashville; brother, Hiram Russell Griffin and wife Jeanne of Nashville, GA, and her precious grand fur baby, Winston; and several nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
