Linda Joyce Hunt

Linda Joyce Hunt, 68, of Moultrie, Georgia, went to be with OUR LORD at K & K Community Living in Bainbridge on Friday, March 17, 2023.


Linda’s, celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Linda will be laid to rest at Westview City Cemetery. Mike Newsome, Tony Newsome, Larry A. Hunt, Jerry Bradfield, Lance Hunt, and Daniel Hunt will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be, Jimmie Bradfield, Steve Bradfield, Larry Hunt, Kathryn Staffer, and Linda Hahn.

A visitation will be held one hour before the funeral hour in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.

Linda had her seat in church and no one dared to sit in her place. In Heaven her final destination, she will join so many loved ones, her mother, Gladys Folds Hunt; father, Leoris Hunt; brother, Lee “Buff” Hunt; special sister-in-law, Lola Hunt; grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and so many more.

Linda’s love and passion was so contagious that everyone she came in contact with loved her dearly. She loved her Heavenly Father.

Left behind to cherish her beautiful memories are her brothers, Alvin H. Hunt of Sandigo, CA., Arthur Lee Hunt and wife Mary Ann of Ormond Beach, FL., Jerry Hunt and wife Mary Lou of Bermuda Run, NC., Charles Hunt and wife Myonchi of Columbus, GA., and Larry Hunt of Moultrie, GA.; sisters, Elizabeth Hunt Romine of Albany, GA., Joanne Hunt Weathers of Leesburg, GA., and Janice Hunt Newsome of Doerun, GA.; special friend, Rosa; numerous cousins, and many friends.

The words from her sister, Elizabeth “Linda was such a special young lady and so brave if the world would only learn the power of love that Linda so freely gave to everyone.”

The family would like to give a special thanks to Steffi, Sharlene, and the staff at Moore’s Personal Care Home in Bainbridge. While living there she matured from the love and compassion that she was shown. The wonderful Hospice staff for their loving care.

How can we carry on without Linda? With Jesus’s help. We must sit at our Heavenly Father’s feet Daily.
