Linda Fay Gay Plymel, 81 of Moultrie, Georgia, died peacefully in her sleep at home surrounded by her family on December 22, 2025.
A private graveside service will be held at Pinecrest Memory Gardens with Mr. Mike Storey speaking.
Born September 17th, 1944, in Brooks County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Bessie Davis and Sam Bond Gay. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank Gay, Guy Gay, Raymond Gay, Jack Gay, and her sister, Mildred Sparks.
She worked alongside her husband, George Derell Plymel Sr., every day on their businesses, The Green House, Shenanigans, Variety Vending, Plymel Package Store, Georgetown Apartments, and Plymel Vacation Rentals (St George Island, Florida).
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, George Derell Plymel Sr.; son, George Derell Plymel Jr, and wife Michelle (Moultrie); daughter, Dr. Karen Plymel and partner Traci White (Michigan); daughter, Nancy Plymel Campagna and husband Dr. James H. Campagna (St. George Island, Florida); grandchildren, Mary Catherine Plymel, George McCants Plymel and wife Taylor, Ryan Plymel and wife Erica, Tryston Jakubik and husband Adam, Matthew Tucker and wife Elaina, Walt Tucker and Fiancée Reed Collins; two Sisters, Elizabeth and husband Jim Glass, Betty Anne and husband Roger Holmes.
Great Grandchildren- George Easton Plymel, Sydnee Wilson Mehan, Rylee Plymel, Kaylee Plymel, Theodore Jakubik, and Anna Belle Jakubik.
