Lillie Mae Spires Hartsfield, 79, of Omega, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 13, 2023, at Paulk’s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Voyles officiating.
Born December 2, 1943, in Ocilla, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Lee Spires and Nina Mae
Kimbrell Spires. Mrs. Hartsfield was a homemaker and a Pine Level Baptist Church member.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Eugene Hartsfield; sons, Terry Lee Hartsfield, and Kenneth LaDon Hartsfield; daughter-in-law, Sherry Raye Brown Hartsfield; brothers, Ollie Spires, Oscar Spires, Jr., Harry Spires, Larry Spires, Bobby Gene Spires, and Jim Spires; and sisters, Wanda Faye Lott, Irma Jean Jones, and Geraldine Spires.
Mrs. Hartsfield is survived by her sons, Jeff Hartsfield of Omega, and Tracey Hartsfield of Adel; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
