Leah Loraine Cooper

Leah Loraine Cooper, 65, of Pavo, died Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Pruitt Health- Moultrie.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Lebanon Cemetery in Pavo with Reverend David Brown and Reverend John Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends and family immediately following the service.

Born on October 25, 1959, in Thomas Co., Georgia, she was the beloved daughter of Betty Phillips Cooper and the late Elkin Uland Cooper. Leah lived a life filled with love, joy, and gratitude. Despite many challenges, she met each day with a warm smile and a kind heart. Leah found great happiness in the company of her family and especially adored her nieces and nephews, who brought her endless joy.

Leah had a sweet and gentle spirit that touched everyone around her. She found beauty in the little things and cherished every moment life had to offer. Her laughter and love will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her. She was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her mother, Betty Phillips Cooper of Pavo, she is survived by her siblings, Norris Kent Cooper and wife Pamela of Moultrie, Phillip Cooper and wife Deborah of Thomasville and Ellen Gadd and husband William of Pavo; nieces and nephews, Blake Lastinger (Taylor), Megan Conway (Stephen), Kendall Cooper (Connor), Kelsey Selph (Nick), Kirby Cooper (Shanna), Nicholas Cooper (Tara); and great nieces and nephews, Adilyn Conway, Emery Conway, Peyton Cooper, Fletcher Selph, Campbell Selph, and Kohen Cooper.
