Kenneth Freeman

Kenneth Allen Freeman, 62, of Moultrie, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

No formal service will be held.

Mr. Freeman was born on July 4, 1963, in Adel, Georgia, to the late Billy Ray Freeman and Helen Weeks Freeman. He worked as a beekeeper with Swords Apiaries and took pride in his work.

Mr. Freeman loved beekeeping more than just a career; it was his passion. He loved motorcycles and enjoyed the freedom of the open road. An outdoorsman at heart, he spent many happy hours hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed talking on and listening to HAM radios; his forever call sign is K4BEE. He always appreciated the Ham Radio history and craftsmanship, and he got his passion for it from his uncle Wendell.

Mr. Freeman is survived by his daughter, Amber Day Freeman of Hartsfield; grandchildren, Trent Barnett and Chloe Barnett of Hartsfield; brother, Terry Ray Freeman of Norman Park; and sister, Tresia Lynn Mercer and husband Michael of Moultrie.
