Kay Cannington Weeks

Kay Cannington Weeks, 73, of Norman Park, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, Georgia. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 28, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Brad Baker officiating. Jacob Sirmans, Ty Weeks, Champ Green, Travis Swain, Andy Oliver, and Kolbey Hancock will all serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Brandi Baker will provide the special music. Interment will follow at Omega City Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service.

Born on January 3, 1951, in Adel, Georgia, to the late Walter B. Cannington and Grace Oliver Cannington. Ms. Weeks retired from Piggly Wiggly after dedicating many years working in the bakery. She was of the Baptist faith. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Broughton Weeks; daughter, Misty Brooke Weeks; and sister, Hilda Morris.

Mrs. Weeks is survived by her daughter, Angie Sirmans and BoBo Green of Norman Park; grandchildren, Ty Weeks, and Jacob Sirmans (Bri Slaughter); sister, Jane Smith of Tifton; niece and nephew, Karla Perretta and Andy Smith; and numerous great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
