Kay T. Green, 76, of Moultrie, peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Hopewell Baptist Church, with Reverend Matt Marston officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 pm.
Born on August 22, 1949, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Odis Bell Tillman and Olive Ona Davis Tillman. Mrs. Green was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church, where she served as an ordained deacon and also taught the Carolyn Sirmans Sunday School class for many years. Her faith was a guiding force in her life, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to the many ministries of her church. Above all, she cherished her family, whom she loved deeply. She retired from the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David J. Green; sister, Mary Wynn; brother-in-law, Gene Wynn; and, sister-in-law, Diane Tillman.
Mrs. Green is survived by her husband, Jerry J. Green; daughter, Anna Green Bolden and husband Kristopher of Athens; three grandchildren, Davis Green of Valdosta, Alexander Bolden and Eleanor Bolden, both of Athens; two brothers, Billy Tillman and his wife, Linda, and Jerry Tillman all of Moultrie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Colquitt Regional Hospice at 415 Rowland Dr., Moultrie, GA 31768.
Arrangements entrusted to Baker Funeral Home and Crematory.
