Julian De La Rocha

Julian De La Rocha, 76, of Moultrie, died Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. De La Rocha was born in Havana, Cuba, and later made Moultrie his home, where he became a well-known and respected member of the community. He was the owner and operator of a local barber shop for many years, faithfully serving his customers and building lasting relationships with those who sat in his chair. Known for his kind spirit and steady presence, Julian took pride not only in his work but in the friendships he formed throughout his life.

A man of strong faith, he was a devoted member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, and his beliefs guided him in the way he lived and treated others.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Ms. Delia Bacallao De La Rocha; his sister, Aurora De La Rocha; and a host of extended family and close friends who were like family to him and will cherish his memory always.

Mr. De La Rocha will be remembered for his gentle nature, his dedication to his craft, and the meaningful connections he made with all who knew him.
