Judy Stanfill Mills

Judy Stanfill Mills, 78, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 PM in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mills was born on June 26, 1947, in Colquitt County. She was the daughter of the late John Wesley Stanfill and Juanita Christine Stanfill. Mrs. Mills loved her family and enjoyed making precious memories with them. She loved traveling, but the Smokey Mountains were her favorite, and she always said, “This feels like home.” She served many years at the Moultrie Observer, working on information for the daily newspaper and maintaining equipment as their electronics technician. She was a member of China Grove Baptist Church and of the Baptist faith. In her free time, she enjoyed working in her yard and growing beautiful flowers.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Wesley Stanfill.

Mrs. Mills is survived by her husband, Melvin Mills; daughter, Tonja Mills Lipscomb and husband Rick; son, Kelvin Mills; and sister-in-law, Dee Stanfill.
