Judy May Hardin, 74, of Moultrie, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Cunningham officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Baker Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Brad Eunice, Chad Eunice, Bob Harrell, Rod Howell, Cole Pitts, and Reverend Heath Tatum will serve as pallbearers.
Born on September 8, 1951, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Emory E. “Chic” May and Mary Betty Tillman May. She worked as an administrative assistant for Kinetic Windstream for forty-one years.
The beach was one of her favorite places. Yet nothing brought her more happiness than her grandchildren. She adored being with them, celebrating their milestones, and watching them play ball. These moments filled her heart with pride and joy. She was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Evelyn and Tommie Hardin; sister-in-law, Susan Mock; and nephews, Uriah May and Jason May.
Mrs. Hardin is survived by her husband of 53 years, Johnny Hardin of Moultrie; son, Clint Hardin and fiancée Stephanie Miller and their children, Zoe and Zia; daughter, Lori Clayton and husband Ben and their children, Becca, Hardin, and Holden; granddaughter, Montana Harrell; brothers, Larry May, and Roger May and wife Judy; brother-in-law, Freddie Mock; nieces and nephews, Craig Mock and wife Tonya, Amy Blanchett and husband Randy, Melanie Williams and husband Andy, Mary Baker and husband Al, Matthew May, and Jamie May.
