Judy Ann Bales

Judy Ann Bales, 67, of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Judy was born on November 1, 1955, in Pavo, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie Ervin
Cooper and Betty Phillips Cooper Smith.
Judy served as Purchasing Officer at Colquitt County Board of Commissioners for many years. Judy
enjoyed reading books, going to yard sales, playing cards, and drinking coffee with family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Terry Cooper, Steven Cooper; and
sister, Patricia Yvonne Cooper Gay.
Ms. Bales is survived by her son Joe Mashburn and wife Amy of White Oak, Texas; daughter, April
Gibson and husband Kevin of Rome, Georgia; grandchildren Darin Gibson, Jessica Mashburn, and Jackson
Mashburn; brother, Rusty Cooper of Moultrie; and sister, Betty Jo Puckett of Ray City.
There will be no funeral services at this time. Family and friends will be notified of a Celebration of Life
to be held later this summer.
