Dearly beloved Joyce Lenora Boyd Redmond Burgess, 77, of Meigs, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at her home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Born on January 10, 1943 in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Charles Clarence Boyd and Josephine Passmore Boyd. She was an LPN at Colquitt Regional Medical Center and was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Curtis Redmond, second husband, Timothy Burgess, Sr.; son, Curtis Redmond; brothers, Grady Lee Boyd, and Charles Alvin Boyd.
Mrs. Joyce is survived by her son, Charles Leonard Redmond of Colquitt Co.; step son, Curtis Redmond, Jr. of Colquitt Co.; sister, Lanell Boyd Wallace and husband Tom of California; grandson, Robin Redmond and wife Kasie of Colquitt Co.; great grandchildren, Whitley Redmond, Mary Redmond, and Mal-akhi Redmond; and a special niece, Joann Boyd Allen.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
