Johnny David Cannon, 68, of Pavo, Georgia, died on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2025, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Julian Griner and Reverend John Bell officiating. The family will receive friends and family immediately following the service.
Born on February 19, 1957, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of Johnnie Duncan Cannon and Christine Croy Cannon of Moultrie, Georgia. Mr. Cannon was the National Pipe Plant division manager in Thomasville, Georgia, where he was known for his strong leadership and dedication. A proud Mason for 46 years, he lived a life grounded in service, fellowship, and integrity. Mr. Cannon found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish, pursuits that reflected his deep appreciation for nature and the quiet moments it offered. He was a member of Trinity Tabernacle in Berlin.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Yvonne Cannon and Sarah Cannon.
Mr. Cannon is survived by his sister, Elaine Cannon and Van Hortman of Pavo; brother, Wayne Cannon and wife Donna of Commerce, and several nieces and nephews.
