John Hunnicutt

John Herbert Hunnicutt, 83, of Norman Park, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Piedmont Hospital Newnan.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 7, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Voyles officiating. He will be laid to rest at Weeks Chapel Church Cemetery.
Born on December 6, 1938, in Norman Park, Georgia, he was the son of the late O.S. Hunnicutt and Pera Lee Cox Hunnicutt. Mr. Hunnicutt worked as a mechanic at Parker Auto Mechanic Shop for 20 years. He was a Veteran of The United States Army and was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lillian Hunnicutt Ricks.
Mr. Hunnicutt is survived by his daughter, Sonya Hunnicutt Barfield and husband Kevin of Senoia, Georgia; grandchildren, Daniel and Sophia Barfield of Senoia Georgia; brothers, Earnest Hunnicutt and wife Brenda and James Hunnicutt and wife Shirley all of Norman Park, Georgia.; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
