Joan Sheffield Baker, a resident of Moultrie, GA, formerly of Dothan, AL, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2023.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
She was a graduate of Northview High School. She later graduated from Auburn University in Accounting.
Surviving relatives include Joan and Newman Brock of Dothan, AL and Bill and Jan Sheffield of Panama City, FL; sons, Chase (Ali) Baker of Roswell, GA, and Paul (Emily) Baker of Abbeville, AL; grandchildren, Clayton, Charlie, Emma and Will Baker; sister, Zibby Sheffield Pope of Valdosta, GA; brother, William Sheffield of Mobile, AL; nieces, Taylor Kimmerling and Laura Mac Sheffield; and nephews, Robert and Brandon Pope.
The family would like to thank Joan’s friend and caregiver, Debra Keene, for the kindness and compassion she provided Joan.
Arrangements entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
