Jimmy William Holloway, 74, of Norman Park, died Friday, August 22, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Weeks Chapel Church with Reverend Stanley Norman and Reverend Thomas Parrish officiating. Interment will follow at Weeks Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
Born on April 5, 1951, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Johnny William Holloway and Mary Hackle Holloway. He dedicated his life to hard work and serving others through his many roles in the workforce. Jimmy began his career working in a machine shop at Parker Machine Shop, later joined Miller Canning Plant, and eventually became the Service Manager for Kubota Tractor, where he was well-respected for his knowledge and leadership. He was a member of Weeks Chapel Church.
Outside of his professional life, Jimmy had a deep love for craftsmanship. He enjoyed making custom knives, skillfully working with wood to create unique handles that showcased his talent and attention to detail. Hunting was another passion of his, especially quail hunting, which brought him countless memorable moments with friends and loved ones.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved sons, Joshua Talmadge Holloway and Benjamin William Holloway; and father-in-law Talmadge Hampton.
Mr. Holloway is survived by his loving and cherished wife, Denise Hampton Holloway of Norman Park; brother, Jerry Holloway of Moultrie; sister, Elizabeth Holloway of Moultrie; mother-in-law, Mary Ruth Hampton of Norman Park; and several nieces and nephews.
