Jimmy Croft

Jimmy Robert Croft,81, of Moultrie, passed away, Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 12, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Naes officiating. Andrew Clayton, Sr., Jessie McMullen, Gary Grantham, Brad Wessels, Kacey Croft, and Noah Haynes will serve as pallbearers. Andrew Clayton, Jr. will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Tommy Tyree.
Born September 17, 1940, in Berlin, to the late Jim Croft and Lillie B. Alderman Croft. He worked at Riverside Manufacturing as a shipping clerk and was a member of Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church in Berlin. Mr. Croft also attended Grace Freewill Baptist Church in Moultrie.
Mr. Croft is survived by his loving wife, Lou Croft of Moultrie; son, Keith Croft and wife Kim of Moultrie; stepsons, Daniel James Clayton of Moultrie, and Andrew Darin Clayton, Sr. and wife Nicole of Moultrie; sisters, Mary Alice Tyree of Moultrie, and Judy Grantham and husband Gary of Sylvania, Georgia; grandchildren, Kacey Croft, and Andrew Clayton Jr; nieces and nephews, Amanda Hurst and husband James, Jane Thompson and husband Tim, Leah Haynes, Jana Jordan and husband Josh, Brad Wessels and wife Natalie, and Pat Tyree; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
