Jesse Conger

Jesse David Conger, 86, of Norman Park, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Julian Griner officiating. Clay Conger, Lane Bruce, Zack McMullen, Mickey Bridwell, Andrew Bridwell, and Phillip Hayre will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Conger was born on August 23, 1936, in Norman Park, Ga. He was the son of the late David Conger and Lorene Bivins Conger. He was a retired truck driver and was of the Holiness Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Keith Conger; sisters, Barbara Lovett and Betty Conger; and brothers, Warren Conger, and Earl Conger.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Mae Hamilton Conger of Norman Park; sons, Buddy Conger and wife Joyce of Norman Park, Phillip Conger of Norman Park, and Dennis Conger and wife Hilda of Moultrie; daughter, Sherry Allen and husband Randy of Pavo; grandchildren, Leigh Conger, Carrie Long and husband Ryan, Clay Conger and wife Jenny Lee, Zach McMullen and wife Breanna, Holly Fender and husband Matthew, Kippani Frasier, Cameron Conger, Kim Bridwell and husband Mickey, Christi Conger, Crystal Hayre and husband Phillip, Hanna Conger, and Jess Carter and husband Kevin; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, JoAnn Elston of Norman Park; and brother, Jimmy Conger and wife Linda of Moultrie.

Visitation will be held one hour before the service.
