Jerry Sumner

Jerry Spencer Sumner,75, of Norman Park, passed away, Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at his residence.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 28, 2021, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Woods and Rev. Julian Griner officiating. Morgan Williams, Wyatt Williams, Eason Roberts, Adam Sumner, Chuck Hartsfield, Hunter Selph, Rodney Baker, and Justin Weeks will serve as pallbearers. Jerry Baker, James Hunnicutt, Danny Horne, and Triple S Communications Employees will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Born May 3, 1946, in Moultrie, Georgia. He was the son of the late, Wright Thomas Sumner and Lorine Weeks Sumner. He was the owner of Triple S Communications, served in the United States National Guard, and was a member of Weeks Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mr. Sumner is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Weaver Sumner of Norman Park; daughters, Pennie Sumner Williams and husband Stephen of Tifton, and Lynn Sumner Roberts and husband Chad of Norman Park; son, Thomas Sumner and wife Kelly of Norman Park; grandchildren, Morgan Williams, Emma Rose Williams, Wyatt Williams, Eason Roberts, Ella Roberts, Kirkland Sumner, and Spencer Sumner; brothers, Jackie Sumner and wife Jackie of Norman Park, and Ray Sumner and wife Kim of Norman Park.
The family would also like to recognize his special nurse and friend, Ashley Carter.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 AM in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
