Jenny Rae Manning, 24, of Moultrie, died on Monday, August 31, 2026.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the Home of Cindy Barrington 2809 5th Street SE Apt R3 Moultrie, Georgia 31768 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Born on October 12, 2001, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of Alan Douglas “Doug” Manning and Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Barrington. Jenny Rae was a remarkably gifted musician whose love for music was evident throughout her life. A classically trained pianist, she possessed a natural talent that allowed her to express herself beautifully through the piano. She also loved playing the guitar and found great joy in music in all its forms.

Her creativity extended far beyond music. Jenny Rae was a talented fiction writer with a vivid imagination and a passion for storytelling. Whether through the notes she played or the words she wrote, she had a special way of bringing her thoughts and creativity to life.

Jenny Rae also had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found peace and happiness surrounded by nature. She enjoyed spending time outside, taking in the beauty of God’s creation and observing His creatures. She appreciated the simple wonders of the natural world and could often find something beautiful in the things others might overlook.

She especially loved looking toward the heavens. Stargazing was one of her favorite pastimes, and she found wonder in the beauty and vastness of the night sky. She was of the Christian faith.

Jenny Rae was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James Manning and Earnestine Dell; her maternal grandfather, Ray Barrington; and her uncle, Denny Manning.

In addition to her parents, Alan Douglas “Doug” Manning of Valdosta and Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Barrington of Moultrie, she is survived by her brother, Alan Douglas “Doug” Manning, Jr. and fiancée Jordan of Thomasville, grandmother, Carolyn Barrington of Moultrie; aunts and uncles, David Manning of Hahira, Melanie Buckland and husband Thomas of Norman Park, Debbie Vizzcarrando of Valdosta, Ashley Rae Odom of Moultrie, and Brittni Laughlin and husband Steven of Thomasville; and several extended family and friends.
