Jeffrey Lee Newton

Jeffrey Lee Newton, 59, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023, at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Trinity Baptist Church Chapel with Mr. Walt Montgomery officiating.
Born on June 7, 1964, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of Emily Arterbury Newton and the late Dr. William McKinley Newton, Jr. He worked for Jones Welding Co. and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Alex Newton.
Mr. Newton is survived by his mother, Emily Arterbury Newton of Moultrie; brothers, Billy Newton and wife Wanda of Raleigh, North Carolina, and John Newton of Moultrie; and sisters, Ann Montgomery and husband Wally of Carrollton, Mississippi, and Mary Williams and husband Ames of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
