Jeanette Furney Veglia

Jeanette Furney Veglia, 83, of West Palm Beach, passed away, Friday, August 19, 2021, at Good Samaritan Medical Center.
A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Steven Hart Officiating.
Born on October 27, 1937, in Quitman, Georgia she was the daughter of the late Cyrus Webster Furney and Lorene Elvie Hart Furney. She worked as an Operation Manager for Florida National Bank and was of the Christian Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred J. Veglia; brothers, Charles Furney and Gilbert Furney; and sister Melba Furney Deas.
Mrs. Veglia is survived by son, Gerolamo James Veglia of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter, Diane Veglia Gassaway and husband Patrick of Wesley Chapel, Florida; grandchildren, Joshua Gassaway and wife Katherina, and Corey Gassaway; great-grandchildren, Callan Gassaway, and Emmett Gassaway; Brothers, Vernon Furney and Gerald Furney; and sister Janice Furney Acompora and Mavis Folsom.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
