Jaylene Johnson Hartley

Jaylene Johnson Hartley, 92, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at her home.

Jaylene Hartley will be cremated according to her wishes.

Born on July 15, 1934, in Sawmills, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Jay Johnson and Ennis Johnson. She was a homemaker who found joy in caring for her family. Above all, Jaylene loved her family dearly, and the time she spent with them was among her greatest blessings.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Claude Samuel Hartley; brother, Carol Johnson and sister, Laverral Fox.

She is survived by her son, Joey Hartley and wife Karen of Moultrie; grandchildren, Allison Jones and husband Matthew of Forsyth, Brandon Hartley and wife Tracy of Moultrie, and Nicholas Hartley of Athens; great-grandchildren, Isabella Hartley, Sophia Jones, Victoria Hartley and Jonathan Hartley;
