Jason Tatum

Jason Darrell Tatum, 44, of Norman Park, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, with Pastor Rob Craft officiating. Interment will be held at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Ambry McDowell, Matt Hamm, Ricky Allegood, Blake Samples, Mack Wiard, and Jared Bledsoe will all serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm at the funeral home.
Born on October 10, 1978, in Thomasville, Georgia, he was the son of Darrell Tatum and Cindy Carroll. Mr. Tatum was the Plant Manager of Colquitt Agriculture Services in Doerun and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Akridge Tatum of Norman Park; daughter, Baylee Ann Tatum of Norman Park; parents, Darrell Tatum and wife Berri of Cotton and Cindy Carroll and husband Winston of Hartsfield; sisters, Georgia Ann Taylor (Josh) of Hartsfield, JoDee Clark of Cotton, Kaley Crosby (Jeremy) of Thomasville and Staci Williams (Tres) of Vada; mother and father in law, Patsy and David Akridge; and sister in law, Jennifer McDowell (Ambry) of Hartsfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
