Janice Nell Rogers Burton Warnell

Janice Nell Rogers Burton Warnell, 70, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at her home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Jordan and Reverend Brandon Jordan officiating. A private interment will follow at Baker Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home.

Born on December 27, 1955, in Valdosta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow Rogers and Guynell Rowland Rogers.

Ms. Warnell was a devoted homemaker and a member of Riverside Holiness Church. She enjoyed the simple comfort of home, especially arts and crafts and watching Duck Dynasty. She was also an avid sports fan who cheered for the Atlanta Braves and the LSU Tigers football.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas “Nick” Warnell; daughter-in-law, Maria Chitty Warnell; and brother, Carl Woodrow Rogers. 

Ms. Warnell is survived by her sons, Cliff Burton and wife Kimberly, and Daniel Warnell, both of Moultrie; grandchildren, Ryan Warnell, Aiden Warnell, Elijah Burton, Payton Warnell, Parker Warnell, Gabriel Warnell, Kylee Burton, Ellie Burton, Jayleigh Warnell, and Brave Warnell; brothers, Sam “Bo” Rogers, Curtis Rogers and wife Vicki, and Jimmy Rogers and wife Lynn; sisters, Debbie Suber and husband Hal, and Emma Biggers and husband Ken.
