James Stone
Mr. James “Jimmy” Edwin Stone, Jr., 53, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Senior Care.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Born on June 17, 1969, in Tampa, Florida, he was the son of Orinda Ruth Webber Stone and the late James Edwin Stone. Jimmy, worked as a shift manager for Domino’s Pizza and was of the Baptist faith. Jimmy graduated in 1988 from Phillips Jr. College. He was a musician who loved to play the guitar, and the keyboard and compose songs and lyrics.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Annie Hagerman.
In addition to his mother, Orinda Webber Stone of Moultrie, Mr. Stone is survived by his special cousins, Graig and Toni Moss, Brenda Henson, Misty and Wade Dillon, Mike Strickland, all of Moultrie, and David Albritton of Berlin; uncle, Donald Ammons of Denmark, two cousins, Ann Ammons, and Tomas Ammons both of Denmark.
