James Lee Hill

James “Jim” Lee Hill, 64, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 6, 2022, in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Scarrow officiating. Interment will follow at Baker Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Eli Williams, Jot McMurphy, George “Chip” Phillips, Stacy Taylor, Robbie Kennedy, and Dusty Moore will serve as pallbearers. Alan “Buck” Dell, Jr., and Bruce “BJ” Brock, Jr. will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Born on February 13, 1958, in LaPorte, Indiana, he was the son of the late Warren Junior Hill and Mary Madeline Wyland Hill. He was a truck driver for Forestry Transport and was of the Christian Faith. Mr. Hill served in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randol “Randy” Hill.
Mr. Hill is survived by his daughters, Melinda Dell and husband Alan “Buck,” Jr., and Brittany Brock and husband Bruce “BJ,” Jr.; grandchildren, Annabelle Dell, Tyler Dell, Hynden Brock, Kaley Brock, Triniti Brock, Kyla Brock, and Brantley Brock; brothers, Douglas Hill and wife Becky, Garry Hill and wife Darlyn, and David Hill and wife Pam; sister, Dona Taylor and husband Stacy; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 PM on Sunday, November 6, 2022, in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
The family will be gathering at the home of Dona and Stacy Taylor’s 330 East Gate Drive. Norman Park, Georgia 31771.
