James "Mike" Michael Burgess

James "Mike" Michael Burgess, 71, of Norman Park, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.

Born on December 27, 1953, in Adel, Georgia, he was the son of the late Vassor Lessie Burgess and Betty Mae Miller Burgess. Mr. Burgess worked at Lowe's Distribution Center and was a forklift driver.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Emma Jean Johnson Burgess, and his brother, Larry Burgess.

Survivors include his sister, Gail Burgess Baker and husband, Larry of Norman Park, and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
