Jackie Leon Norrell

Jackie Leon Norrell, 74, of Pavo, died Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, May 15, 2023, at Oakdale Baptist Church Cemetery 100 Oakdale Road, Canton, Georgia. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Sosebee Funeral Home, 191 Jarvis St., Canton, Georgia.
Born on September 12, 1949, in Canton, Georgia, he was the son of the late Thomas Jack Norell and Jesse Hodges. He worked as a self-employed cabinet maker and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jan Norrell; brothers, Jimmie Norrell and Jerry Norrell; and sisters, Janice Hulson and Joyce Gorum.
Mr. Norrell is survived by his daughter, Jackie Lynn Norrell Darby and husband Steven of Canton; grandchildren, Mike Waller, Rogers Waller, and Daniel Waller; and special friends and caregivers, Danny Hortman and Van Hortman of Pavo.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
