Imogene Tapp Perkins

Imogene Tapp Perkins, 85, of Moultrie, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 21, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Michael Barricklow, James Phillips, David Perkins, Craig Nicholson, Brett Bone, and Matt Hilliard will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
Born on September 13, 1938, in Tifton, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Roy T. Tapp and Rillie Mae Goddard Tapp. She was a seamstress at Warner Sunstate and Bob’s Sporting Goods and was a member of Kingwood Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Franklin Marvin Perkins, Jr.; brothers, R.L. Tapp, Wallace Tapp, Carl Tapp, Clemmon Tapp, and Matthew Tapp; and sister, Dorothy Webb.
Mrs. Perkins is survived by her husband, Franklin Marvin Perkins of Moultrie; daughter, Sharon Deann Perkins Barricklow and husband Larry of Moultrie; grandchildren, Samantha Jo Bone and husband Brett, Michelle Nicholson and husband Craig, Erica Nicole Hilliard and husband Matt, and Michael Curtis Barricklow and wife April; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
