Ilah Beatrice Fielder

Ilah Beatrice Cheek Fielder,88, of Doerun, passed away, Saturday, December 11, 2021, at her home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Winston Baker officiating. J. Brown, Robert Darell Smith, Jason May, Bobby Newman, Brandon Fields, and Shaun Fields will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Born August 15, 1933, in Juliette, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Herbert Lee Cheek and Myrtle Ree Beasley Cheek. She was a Certified Nurse Assistance and was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ernest Fielder; daughter, Gloria Gail Casteel; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters.
Mrs. Fielder is survived by her son, James “Butch” Herbert Fielder of Moultrie; daughters, Verba Holmes and husband John of Albany, Annette Brown and husband J. of Moultrie, LaJana Smith and husband Robert Darell of Doerun, Patty Newman and husband Bobby of Moultrie, and Mellissa E. Snyder of Moultrie; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held one hour before the service from 1:00 – 2:00 PM in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
