Hubert Hancock

Hubert Earl Hancock, Sr., 84, of Moultrie, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at his home.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Wrights Chapel Cemetery. Chris Burrell, Charlie Murphy, Johnny McCook, Brandon McCook, Wayne Jackson, and David Walker, Jr. will serve as pallbearers.
Born on October 23, 1937, in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Jordan A. Hancock, Sr., and Bessie Murphy Hancock. He worked for Sparkman Dairy and was of the Holiness Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Ann Giddens Hancock; sisters, Lucille Pendarvis, Pauline Jackson, Pearl Rose, Myrtis Jackson, and Lois Hancock Hause; and brother, Jordan Hancock, Jr.
Mr. Hancock is survived by his sons, Hubert Earl Hancock and wife Linda of Sumner, GA, John Andy Hancock, Sr. and wife Pamela of Moultrie, and Rocky Carl Hancock, Sr. and wife Carolyn Ann of Moultrie; grandchildren, Jessica Pressley, Rocky Hancock, Jr., A.J. Hancock, Dusty Carl Hancock and wife Alex, Kevin Hancock and wife Brittany, David Walker, Jr. and wife Jennifer, Chris Walker and wife Melissa, and Michael Walker and wife DJ; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and sister, Ophila Shiver,
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, from 6 pm until 8 pm.
