Henry Nelson Leland, Jr., 95, Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Magnolia Manor- Moultrie.
Interment will be held at a later date at Sarasota National Cemetery.
Born on October 7, 1927, in Munhall, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Henry Nelson Leland and Christine Boise Leland. He was The Director of Planning for the State of Florida and was of the Christian faith. Mr. Leland served in The United States Navy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Abernathy Leland; and a sister, Betty Lippincott.
Mr. Leland is survived by his daughters, Christina Fenison of North Carolina, and Lisa Carter of Moultrie; grandchildren, Cody Fenison, Christi Fenison, Lauren Dykstra, Brad McMillan, and James Carter; great-grandchildren, Mason Dykstra, and Jagger Carter.
Arrangements entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
