Henry "Buddy" Laseter

Henry Lee “Buddy” Laseter passed away at the age of 80 in Albany, Georgia at the Wilson Hospice House on Thursday, May 19, 2022.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Interment to follow into Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home
Henry Lee “Buddy” Laster was born in Mitchell County on January 6th, 1942 and was a proud graduate of Colquitt County High School in 1960.
Henry Lee “Buddy” Laseter was married to Beverly Fay (Hewett) Laseter on December 24th, 1960. They were happily married for 61 years.
Henry worked with the City of Moultrie Water Department for 13 years and was a guard with the Colquitt County Correctional Institution. He also worked as a Forman for Ray Gene Williams Produce for 20 plus years before retiring.
During retirement Henry enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, spending time with his wife,family and grandchildren. Most of all Henry enjoyed working at the Moultrie Livestock Barn. Henry also loved volunteering with Bridging the Gap of Georgia and supporting the veterans.
Henry Lee “Buddy” Laseter is survived by his wife Beverly Fay (Hewett) Laseter, of Moultrie Georgia, sister Betty Jean (Laseter) Gatlin, of Avon Park Florida, his three children; daughter Tamara (Tammy) Croy and husband Jerry, son Tarrance Keith Laseter and fiancé Lois Motchan, and daughter Bryna(Laseter) Johannes and husband David. Henry has 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild as well as other family members and friends.
Henry Lee “Buddy” Laseter is preceded in death by his parents Henry Kelly Laseter and Emma Elizabeth (Morse) Laseter, bother Thurman Eugene Laseter, Sister Mary Frances Laseter and Son Marcus (Marc) Anthony Laseter.
