Henry Jarvis

Henry Wakley Jarvis, 69, of Moultrie, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Purvis officiating. Mr. Jarvis will be laid to rest at Oakdale Church Cemetery. Giovanni Martin, Lucio Martin, Mitchell Holloway, Ashton Holloway, Gracen Fender, and Mark Fender will all serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held one hour before the service in the chapel.
Born on June 17, 1953, in Thomasville, Georgia, he was the son of the late Pittman Jarvis and Margie Bell Hardin Jarvis. He worked for over 40 years for Destiny Homes as a painter and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Jarvis was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Jarvis; and sisters, Linda Gail Jarvis, Shirley Ann Jarvis, and Martha Jane Jarvis.
He is survived by his daughter, Marie Martin of Moultrie; grandchildren, Giovanni Martin, Maria Martin, and Ariana Martin, all of Moultrie; great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Martin, Isaias Martin, Oralia Martinez, Jared Martinez, and Alexander Martin; sister, Lula Faye Fender and Curtis Holloway of Norman Park; brothers, Luther Jarvis and wife Mary of Albany and Terry Jarvis and wife Charlotte of Moultrie; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
