Helen Lott

Helen Jeanette Weeks Lott, 94, of Omega, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Wiley officiating. A private family graveside will follow the service. Jimmy Holton, Eli Boatner, Gene Lott, Steven Collins, Buddy Jordan and Kolby Jordan will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Born on August 9, 1928, in Colquitt County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Weeks and Ella Kate Hall Weeks. She was a homemaker and a member of Leila United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Stevenson Lott, Sr.; brothers, Johnny Weeks, Ernest Weeks, Lloyd Weeks, Elton Weeks, and Tharpe Weeks; sisters, Juanita Gains, and Geneva Baggett; and grandchildren, Teresa Lott, and Trampus Bailey.

Mrs. Lott is survived by her sons, Ray Lott and wife Dawn of Camilla, Charles Lott of Gray, Randall Lott of Omega, and Gene Lott of Tifton; daughters, Joyce Lusk and husband Jimmy of Hahira; sister, Mary Ruth Hampton of Norman Park; grandchildren, Laura Watson, Stephen Lott, Michael Lott, Kitty Taylor, Christy Lott, Wendy Kinard, Angela Carter, Karen Stephens, Mindy Kidd, Jamie Lusk and Penny Collins; numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
