Helen Tucker Bennett

Helen Tucker Bennett, 93, of Moultrie, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Autreyville Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Robert McCoy. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. Brent Bennett, Brian Bennett, Owen Bennett, Tommy Kenyon, Ross Thomas, and Rett Thomas will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Born December 6, 1931, in Moultrie, GA, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Lester Tucker and Vera Mae Truluck Taylor. Mrs. Bennett was a registered nurse and worked at Colquitt Regional Medical Center for many years. She was a member of Autreyville Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carol Bennett; brother, Bobby Tucker; sister, Ruby Nobles and Sara Frances Tucker; and great-grandson, Spencer Kenyon.

Mrs. Bennett is survived by her son Steve Bennett and wife Kathy of Moultrie; daughter, Myra Bennett Noble and husband Jon of Tallahassee, FL; brother, Earl Tucker of Moultrie; grandchildren Brent Bennett and wife Becky, Brian Bennett and wife Casey Jo, Tommy Kenyon, Ross Thomas, and Rett Thomas; great-grandchildren Zack Grier, Nathan Bennett, Kaitlyn Vazquez and husband Abel, Owen Bennett, Parker Bennett, Autumn Bennett, Nevaeh Kenyon, Chandler Thomas, Skylar Thomas, Evelyn Thomas, and Angel Thomas
