Heather Elkins, 33, of Norman Park, died Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

No formal services will be held at this time.

Born on February 23, 1993, in Moultrie, Georgia, Heather was the daughter of the late Patrick Anthony Bates and Sara Ann Summerour Bates.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Kenneth Summerour.

She is survived by her grandmother, Johnnie Summerour of Moultrie; son, Ayden L. Bates; brother, Kenny Bates; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
