Hazel Long

Hazel Long, 90, of Moultrie, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022, at Pruitt Health.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Sardis Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Hiers Officiating.
Mrs. Long was born on July 17, 1931, in Moultrie, Georgia, to the late B. Hiers and Eva Giles Hiers. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lathers Long; brothers, Harvey Hiers, John Hiers, Sid Hiers, Bill Hiers, and Baker Hiers; and sisters, Louise Hall, and Grace Sapp.
Mrs. Long is survived by her brother, Gene Hiers and wife Bernice of Moultrie; sisters in law, Catherine Hiers of Moultrie, and Sue Hiers of Sacramento, California; cousin, Virginia Yarbrough of Moultrie; nephew, Mike Hiers and wife Barbara; nieces, Michelle May and husband Jason, and Marlana Turner and husband Scott; and several other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Sardis Cemetery.
