Hallie Dawn Murphy

Hallie Dawn Wilkes Murphy, 54, of Moultrie, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 8, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Wilkes, Jr. officiating. Kaid Carroll, Michael Edge, Justin Carroll, Aden Carroll, Justin Murphy, and Alan Griffin will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Born on May 25, 1969, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Billy Wilkes, Sr., and Mary Nell Weaver Wilkes. She was a bus driver for 12 years for the Colquitt County Board of Education and was a member of Doerun Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Dusty Carroll.
Mrs. Murphy is survived by her husband, Vance Murphy of Moultrie; daughters, Nicole Murphy Martinez and husband Leo of Moultrie, and Jade Murphy Merritt and husband Devin of Moultrie; brother, Rev. Billy Wilkes, Jr., and wife Leigh Andra of Moultrie; sisters, Tammy Wilkes Bates and husband Randy of Moultrie, and Kim Wilkes Carroll of Moultrie; and grandchildren, Kale Dennis, Emma Merritt, Olivia Merritt, and Kaydee Nell Martinez.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, September 7, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
