Glenn Hal Strickland

Glenn Hal Strickland, 72, of Ochlocknee, Georgia, passed away at Wellstar Health Medical Center of Augusta, Georgia, on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 26, 2025, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Comer officiating. Interment to follow at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Born on December 31, 1952, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Mae Thompson Strickland.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his nephew Chad McDurman.

Mr. Strickland is survived by his loving partner of 12 years, Beverly Ann Peck of Ochlocknee; sons, Glenn Chad Strickland of Locust Grove and Christopher Lashley of Eau Claire, WI; daughters, Stacy Grantham and husband David of Fortson, Lora Sixkiller and husband Emory of Moultrie, and Jenna Rae Lopez of Destin, Florida; grandchildren, Hunter Grantham, Jordyn Grantham, Nicholas Sixkiller, Logan Sixkiller and wife Allison, Deegan Ives, Kylie Ives and Ezra Lopez; great-grandchildren, Luke Sixkiller and Baylen Sixkiller; sisters, Vicki Dorminey and husband Wade of Moultrie, and Phyllis McDurman of Moultrie; niece; Kelly Dorminey; and nephew, Heath Dorminey.
