Glen David Green, 72, of Moultrie, died on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Joseph Alexander officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the chapel.
Born on March 13, 1954, in Valdosta, Georgia, he was the son of the late Joseph Lewis Green and Edna Maude Wiggins Green. Mr. Green lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and an appreciation for the simple joys that life had to offer. One of his greatest passions was restoring his beloved 1977 Blazer, a project that brought him much pride and countless hours of enjoyment. Whether working with his hands in the garage or sharing stories with those he loved, Mr. Green found happiness in the moments that mattered most.
Above all, he treasured his family. His three grandchildren were the light of his life, and he loved spending time with them, making memories they will forever cherish. Mr. Green was a man who truly loved life and embraced each day with gratitude and a warm spirit that touched everyone around him.
For 51 wonderful years, he shared a loving marriage with his devoted wife, Kathy, whom he considered the love of his life. Their bond was a beautiful example of commitment, love, and partnership through every season of life. He was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Sue Alexander.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of fifty-one years, Kathy Elaine Ingram Green of Moultrie; sons, Glen David Green, Jr. and wife Mattye and Christopher Ryan Green and wife Brittannie, all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Savannah Nicole Green, Asa Victoria Elaine Green, and Glen David Green, III; brothers, Tommy Green and wife Donna and Kenny Green and wife Pam; sister, Jeanine Stafford and husband Pete; and special friends, Jeff and Cathy Holden of Berlin; and several nieces, nephews, and extended families.
