Geraldine McCorvey

Geraldine Agnes Richter McCorvey, 82, of Moultrie, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. McCorvey was born on September 5, 1939, in Hartsfield. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Green Ritcher and Grace Hall Richter. She worked at Wrights Nurseries.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Wesley Buddy Richter, Edgar Joe Dink Richter, and Johnny A. Richter; and sisters, Cortez Todd Hewett, and Charlie Ruth Crawley.
She is survived by her sons, Randall McCorvey and wife Deana of Tallahassee, and Chip VanLandingham and wife Ginger of Cairo; daughters, Kathi McCorvey and wife Tracie Walker of Moultrie; sisters, Shirley Setzer of Fernandina Beach, and Bonnie Randolph of McRae; grandchildren, Ashley Shrout and husband Josh, Shane VanLandingham, Brittney Teems and husband Dale, and Lee McCorvey; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
