Gerald Grady Pendarvis, 81, of Norman Park, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Zach Abell and Reverend Thomas Morey officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Glenn Pendarvis, Johnny McDonald, Chris Pendarvis, Devin Flinchum, Kaden Sanchez, and Kayden Bivens will serve as casketbearers.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Pendarvis was born on December 9, 1944, in Moultrie, Georgia to the late Grady Webb Pendarvis and Lucille Hancock Pendarvis. He was a man of deep faith whose life was centered on serving the Lord and sharing the message of Jesus Christ with everyone he encountered. He attended Schley Baptist Church and Lakeside Assembly of God, where he found fellowship and spiritual encouragement among his church family. Gerald never met a stranger and was always eager to speak about his faith and the goodness of God.

He enjoyed spending time gardening, finding great satisfaction in nurturing and caring for his plants. He also loved riding motorcycles and appreciated the freedom and adventure of the open road. Whether tending his garden, riding his motorcycle, or visiting with friends and neighbors, Gerald's kind spirit and genuine love for others were evident in all he did.

He will be remembered for his unwavering faith, compassionate heart, and his desire to share the love of Christ with those around him. His life was a testament to the values he held dear, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Becky Vaughn Pendarvis; siblings, Penny Pendarvis, Donnie Pendarvis, and Junior Pendarvis.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Pendarvis; children, Lynn Calloway, Jennifer and husband Corey Sanchez, Willie Ann McDonald, Shonda and husband Andrew Spurlock, Melissa and husband Josh Foster, Lenora Lee Patterson; sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; siblings, Peggy Howell, Roger Pendarvis and wife Mary Joe, Dianne Naipper, Glenn Pendarvis, Chris Pendarvis and wife Cheyenne, and Pam Llanos and husband Profio; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
