Geneva Weeks Baggett, 85, of Moultrie, died Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Cobblestone Health and Rehab.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, private graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Weeks Chapel Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Hiers officiating.
Born on March 12, 1935, in Colquitt Co., she was the daughter of the late George "Georgia Buck" Washington Weeks and Ella Kate Hall Weeks. She retired from Riverside Manufacturing Company and attended Christian Crusades Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Baggett; brothers, Tharp Weeks, Earnest Weeks, Elton Weeks, Lloyd Weeks, and Johnny Weeks; sister, Juanitta Gaines; and grandson, Jonathan Shirlock.
Mrs. Baggett is survived by her sons, Ralph Baggett, and Junior Baggett and wife Lautrelle both of Moultrie; daughter, Cynthia Baggett of Moultrie; sisters, Helen Lott of Omega, and Mary Ruth Hampton of Norman Park, sister in law, Mildred Weeks of Fitzgerald; grandchildren; Jason Baggett and wife Amanda, Jessie Barber and husband Josh, Jeffrey Baggett and wife Cassie, and Jennifer Braswell; 9 great grandchildren; and special friend, Lisa Ostranber, and her Cobblestone Family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
