Frances C. Daniel

Funeral services for Frances C. Daniel,78, of Moultrie will be held at 2:00 PM on, Wednesday, June 7, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Marshall Singletary officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
After a long illness, Frances went home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2023, at South Baldwin County Hospital, Foley, AL. She was born on August 26, 1944, in Pavo, GA, the daughter of the late Henry F. and Maxie Peterson Daniel.
She was a 1962 graduate of Central High School in Thomasville, and was a secretary for 34 years, first with Thomas County Health Department, and later with Colquitt Co. Health Dept. After moving to Moultrie, she was also a gifted caregiver for her special friend K.R. (Tip) McMillan and his parents.
Frances was a Pavo United Methodist Church member, serving on many committees. She was also a Sunday school teacher and youth director. She took the youth on many fun trips; she took her mother on trips in the VW Beetle, and later took her sister on many trips, as well as enjoying trips with Tip to Braves games and Nascar races. Frances enjoyed flowers, and gardening and was a good friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by a sister, Henrietta D. Sprayberry, of Foley, AL; sister-in-law, Norma Daniel, of Pavo; nieces and nephews, Lynn Penney (Tom) of Corpus Christi, TX, Neal Sprayberry (Ashley) of Foley, Susan Carlton (Gene), of Thomasville, Bobby Daniel, of Pavo, Donna Carter (Allen), of Pavo; great nieces and nephews; and special friends, Esther Finch and Pat Carr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Robert Daniel; and nephew, Michael Daniel.
