Filiberta Roman De Valdez, 82, of Moultrie, passed away, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center on Thursday, October 28, 2021.
Viewing/Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Mrs. Valdez will be laid to rest at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
Born on September 22, 1939, in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico; she was the daughter of the late Domingo Roman and Guadalupe Capetillo. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Valdez; 5 brothers; and daughter, Evila Arriaga.
Mrs. Valdez is survived by her loving children, Reynaldo Valdez and wife Susana of Naples, Rogelio Valdez and wife Rosalva of Bonita Springs, Homero Valdez and wife Rosa Isela, and Juan Luis Valdez and wife Blanca Deisy, all of Moultrie; daughters, Maria R. Gamez and husband Pablo of Bonita Springs, Evangelina Reyes and husband Guadalupe of Naples and Noemi Cisneros and husband Ricardo of Bonita Springs; son in law, Reynaldo Arriaga of Moultrie; 29 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Brigida Roman of Mexico.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
