Elena Magaña Soria, 70, of Moultrie, died Monday, June 9, 2025, at PruittHealth Magnolia Manor.

The family will receive friends for a public visitation on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

A private family burial will take place at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, with Deacon Diego Castro officiating.

Born on June 8, 1955, in Jaripo, Michoacan, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late David Magaña Andrade and Josefina Granados Lupian. She dedicated many years of her life to working as a farm laborer and found simple joy in gardening at home. Yet, it was her family who held the deepest place in her heart. Known for her warm and loving nature, she touched the lives of many with her generosity, compassion, and quiet strength. She was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandchild.

She is survived by her children, Ricardo Bautista and wife Elena of Panama City, FL, Elio Soria, Gabriela Williams and husband Bernard of Valdosta, Joel Soria of Moultrie, and Esmeralda Soria; six grandchildren; and life partner, Lazaro Soria of Moultrie.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home & Crematory.

La familia recibirá a los amigos para una visita pública el viernes 13 de junio de 2025, de 5:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m.

El sepelio privado de la familia se llevará a cabo en Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, con el Diácono Diego Castro oficiando.

Nacida el 8 de junio de 1963 en Jaripo, Michoacán, México, era hija de los fallecidos David Magaña Andrade y Josefina Granados Lupian. Dedicó muchos años de su vida al trabajo agrícola y encontraba alegría en cuidar su jardín en casa. Sin embargo, su mayor dedicación fue siempre hacia su familia, a quienes amaba profundamente. Era conocida por su naturaleza cálida y amorosa, tocando la vida de muchos con su generosidad, compasión y fortaleza serena. Profesaba la fe católica.

Además de sus padres, le precedió en la muerte un nieto.

Le sobreviven sus hijos: Ricardo Bautista y su esposa Elena de Panama City, FL; Elio Soria, Gabriela Williams y su esposo Bernard de Valdosta, Joel Soria de Moultrie, y Esmeralda Soria; seis nietos; y su compañero de vida, Lázaro Soria de Moultrie.
